In Guadeloupe, camping is not well organized, although it's a very cheap form of accommodation. National parks on other islands have designated camping areas for tourists. Some privately owned land is also available for camping. Try Decouverts et Loisirs Creoles in Abymes (info call: 590-205565). You can arrange some camp vans there.
